Designing a gamified learning platform where employee growth translates into measurable progress and tangible rewards.

THE challenge

Making growth visible and motivating.

Learning felt disconnected from recognition. Employees had access to courses and development paths, but progress felt abstract. There was no clear sense of momentum, achievement, or reward. The challenge was to transform career development into something trackable, engaging, and meaningful, without turning it into a gimmick.

THE APPROACH

Aligning product vision with motivation.

Working closely with Product Managers, we shaped the concept into a structured growth ecosystem: employees complete learning milestones, earn points, and redeem them for real-world rewards.

IDEATION

Turning learning into missions.

Reframed development from “complete training” to “advance your journey”. To make growth tangible, I introduced a gamified layer:

Courses and actions became missions. Progress unlocked levels. Levels unlocked better reward tiers.

DESIGN SYSTEM

Building consistency from scratch.

I designed a complete design system to support the platform, enabling fast iteration and consistency across features. Working closely with developers, we ensured components were reusable, scalable, and aligned with product growth. The system wasn’t just visual, it defined interaction logic and progression patterns.
